This is the cool thing about Nashville, you can walk down the street and fall up in almost any place and get real good music from real good musicians. At almost any time, day or night. Granted, we fell up in to the famous Layla’s. We walked up on J.B. Beverley, Jake Cox, strummin’ along with legend Billy Don Burns, no big deal. I’ll have to admit, wasn’t aware who Billy Don Burns was… I should have known. I’ve heard his songs before, unaware they came from him. He’s a songwriter. Written for the country legends.. Willie, Johnny Paycheck, Billy Joe Shaver. These guys are doing a documentary on the man, due to people like myself not knowing who he is. oops. I’m glad I know now. Great night of real deal “non-pop” country music! NO to POP please, thank you.
