hot pants

I adore hot pants. I abhor that I cannot find a floral pair that fits me. So, after drafting up a pattern, I put together this set, inspired by one look from Giambattista Valli's Spring 2013 collection - ivory hot pants with a matching top embellished with pearls. I used floral chiffon with a thick lining of duchess satin to keep its shape. Since I can't wait for summer to wear this, I'll pair it with dark gray tights and a navy gold-buttoned coat - which I happen to have hanging in my closet.
