A Sunny Afternoon

It's not very often that you come across a homewares collection and love every single piece, but that's exactly how I feel about A Sunny Afternoon. This online pop-up shop and product line comes from Sarah Sherman Samuel, a creative director and designer based in LA and Michigan. Every piece in the A Sunny Afternoon collection has been designed and lovingly made in small batches by Sarah and her father, Lee, or by other local artisans, and was born out of Sarah's desire to create a line that marries her style with her love of handmade, the outdoors and gathering together for a meal.

The A Sunny Afternoon range includes tea towels, napkins, table runners and chopping/serving boards made from wood that has been collected over the years by Lee from downed trees and reclaimed sources.

What a lovely collection! To see more, visit the A Sunny Afternoon website, and for more info on Sarah pop by her blog, Smitten Studio.
