Hi guys, I know its been 2 months since my last post and I missed ya, but I have been working on a few things personally. For one my health has been on the knife's blade. I've had a few complications from the result of the gall bladder removal back in May. Secondly sorting out the living in the new apartment hasn't been easy. Thirdly I'm just so burnt out from that real life drama that blogging feels like a chore and I don't look forward to it.
But on a good note you can see I chopped off my hair, whats left is the color from the roots that was growing in and some of the blonde at the tips. Im so happy with it. I feel so much better with the summer's heat but more so that my hair is healthier looking now. My absolute favorite way to style it is like in the pics, somewhat slicked back and down.
This skirt has been practically worn by every blogger/fashionista in late spring/early summer that when I saw it it Zara the first time I passed it up. But when I was in Zara back in early August and happen to find my size in white while waiting on the fitting room line that I just picked it up. These shorts are like the jeans from the move Sisterhood of the traveling pants, that I think it works on most body sizes and is wearable with a dressy blouse or a old torn band tee. I paired it here with a silk blouse I thrifted a few years back and a pointy flat for a dinner with my BFF Karen in the west village.
