In like a lion out like a pony

I mentioned spending all my refund money my last blog but I don’t think I ever really mentioned on what Jk I totally did. The things I posted were not even 5% of what I purchased. The largest items I did order were three dresses. two used and Lief’s new Carousal Theater JSK set; which includes the dress itself, a bonnet, and a blouse all in red and cream respectively. Anyways now that I am a parrot/broken record, all of the dresses save for the Lief dress (which is currently being manufactured) have arrived.

I’ve wanted Memorial Cake for a long time now. I never could decide between sax, white or black and I never could decide between OP or the frill JSK. Turns out, I really liked the OP. It’s a beautiful piece, with a flattering cut and it has the same chest frill as the frill JSK anyways save for the weird boob outline that the jsk has. The colors are so soft and really sing sweet sweet things to me. I got a great deal on it, and it’s in flawless condition. It really just needs to be ironed. The lazy part of me is hoping that it sitting on the dress form will allow the wrinkles to fall out but that’s only a reality to some extent. ‘

Just when I thought I was done though, I was browsing the new Lace-market site and up popped a complete Wonder Party set for a decent price. I bought it with the fury of a thousand suns.

Socks are a little stained, but not as bad as you would expect for second hand socks.

The little jewels on the collar are just a precious touch that I didn’t see on the OP. I’ve only seen this dress as an OP in person twice. Once in pink and once in blue. Both times I was in love with it so I regret nothing. Besides, this dress is also in near pristine condition. I noticed a tiny bit of dirt around the collar (which would surprise me if I didn’t) and the seller complained of one tiny stain near a teapot on the rear. It took me 15 minutes to find it and I had to have someone else help looking because I would have missed it otherwise. Definitely made out like a bandit.

Now I promise I am finished buying dresses for this season…No I am not.
