Baketopia – October 11th & 12th

So it seems like there is always a national sausage day or international spinach month going on, but next week’s National Baking Week does sound like one I’m happy to get on board with. To celebrate this most tasty of weeks, the wonderful Miss Cakehead (of depressed cakes, anatomical cake shops and many other imaginatively baked-up events) will curate an all star team to create a completely edible magical meadow.

This Friday and Saturday ‘Baketopia’ will pop-up at Kingly Court featuring The Tattooed Bakers, Nevie Pie Cakes, Caking It and Conjurer’s Kitchen. We’re talking pastry buterflies, meringue mushrooms, milk fountains and, of course, The Tattoed Bakers centre piece of a giant unicorn (check out their tweet below). Not sure about the karmic implications of eating a unicorn, but am certainly going to find out.

Baketopia at Kingly Court (unit 1.16) | 11th & 12th October | Free but donations to Great Ormond Street greatly encouraged! | Book priority tickets from http://baketopia.eventbrite.com/
