Where The Gold Roses Grow (my personal tumblr account)

Now I won't present you with any lists, of just how bad the past year has been or how the next is bound by some magic to be any better. My year has been alright and I'm sure the next will be just fine too!
As you are all aware, there have been mountains climbed and rivers swum (metaphorically speaking of course, as I'm not a naturally competent water dweller myself) and repeated, always repeated. For every mountain's peak I find myself atop of, within my sights and only a stones throw ahead is another, even bigger, begging me to just climb. And I do.
I am currently battling post-christmas and no-I-am-not-ready-for-a-new-year-just-yet blues, as well as coursework that I should have had in the bag many months ago, but there has been progress with both and marking this little between space, as deem-able as an occasion as it can be, I felt a little type or two was needed and here we all are.
