Triathlon

Hi all, I know posts have been scarce lately, but this weekend I accomplished something I never thought I would be able to. I am not a swimmer, biker or runner and did none of the sports in school competitively or recreationally. And the thought of doing them all back to back quite frankly seems like something of a joke to me. So when Andrew suggested the idea to me months ago I laughed. But over a bit of time he warmed me up to the idea. The main selling point being that I would force myself to improve at all these things I was so weak at, not to mention kind of hate. And let’s face it camping running and biking doesn’t leave all that much room for fashion or style. -Although you have to admit, printed pinstripes and bow ties might just be the next “It” thing.

But here, in the end, is a picture of my with my medal and I’m even smiling. Weird.
