… aaand FYI: I’m 6’2″, with a skinny, athletic body-type, wearing a true US10 or EU43.

A couple of weeks ago, as you may have seen on Snapchat and IG, I teamed up with K-Mart to check out the new Adam Levine for K-Mart collection. Though it may sounds like it, Adam is not actually the designer — that’s Kevin Christiana. A super cool dude who actually graduated from FIT, and went on to work for many big brands. He even got to be a part of Project Runway (fourth season, if you’re wondering). So after an awesome breakfast talking about fashion and trends such as ombre and skinnier jeans, we went to a vintage store in the Lower East Side of Manhattan and hung out with Kevin as he browsed through awesome clothes from people’s past lives, to gather inspiration for something new. It really is the circle of fashion: what once was new now is considered old, yet sparks the idea for something new over again… Right after, we went to the K-Mart on 34th Street and looked at what was on the floor right now. I know what you’re thinking, and I’m not gonna ignore it: “K-Mart?!” you ask. Rest assured that I knew what I was getting myself into and the collection has some amazing pieces at a great price point.

The collection has been sold for multiple seasons now, and I picked out a few pieces I liked the best. Among those is this great faux-leather biker jacket. With the leather partially wrinkled up you get a nice vintage look. I wore a grey on grey ombre sweater underneath, with a white henley just peaking out, and continued this sporty vibe with the low-top sneakers. Couldn’t you imagine Adam rocking this look on stage? :)
