Fairy Tale Nighstand in CeCe Caldwell’s Alaskan Tundra Green and Virginia Chestnut

This is what happens when I can’t make up my mind as to what colors I want to use.

I started out using Carolina Sun Yellow, then I ran out of paint! I added vintage white over top the yellow and Virginia Chestnut on top. I hated it! So what do I do when I don’t like a piece (like this buffet that I painted four times)? I break out the Alaskan Tundra Green, a color that I know I always like.
I wet distressed through the layers of paint to bring out the Carolina Sun Yellow and white. I think Alaskan Tundra Green is one of the best of CeCe’s colors when it comes to layering paint. I also went out on a limb and tried stenciling for the first time.
The stenciling reminds me of a fairy tale or Snow White story. The handles are tinted with Autumn Gold Rub ‘N Buff. When I sat down on the floor to grab some pics, this little DIVA guy wouldn’t get out of the way!
This table is now for sale. If you’re interested in purchasing it, please email me (Taylor) at [email protected]. Thank you!
