Owls is a cartoon that imagines your favorite celebrities/historical figures/book, movie, and tv show characters/pop culture figures/inanimate objects as, you guessed it, owls. The book ‘Owl Of My Friends’ would turn this humble blog into a paper aviary of the blog’s most popular posts as well as new creations. ‘Owls’ moved to Tumblr in 2009 but there have been hundreds of ‘Owls’ cartoons since the blog started in 2009.
