A Dab of Red Will Do

I’ve been feeling quite crafty these days, and have finally snapped back into DIY project mode. A couple of weeks ago, I tackled the reinvention of the sweet little vanity bench I use at my desk. It used to look a bit dinged up and dated- just sort of blended into the neutral surroundings. Now, painted red and recovered with a large scale, turquoise and oatmeal zigzag fabric by Lacefield Designs, it is fresh and happy!

I simply love how this small project makes such a big statement, but totally works with the rest of the space.
