She shoots her colors all around like a sunset going down :)
I had every intention of paying someone to color my hair, then I realized I trust myself way more than anyone else. I guess that's what happens when you dye your own hair for over 20 years. I also feel much better about wearing this look because I created it! There is something very satisfying about that. Sure rich folks can buy whatever they want but it feels so much better when you create it for yourself.
Here is my new color. Orange on top and fuchsia underneath. It will take a bit of getting used to but I love how crazy VIBRANT it is.
Its pretty hard to photograph.
This is a close up of my hair and my heart.
A colorful reminder of my Dad.
I did my hair in several steps over a few days.
It really does look like a sunset.
My sweet new sugar skull purse.
Cristi and I went to watch our friend Teresa give a cooking class. She is the creator of
Enlighten Your Palate.
This is what your face looks liken when you say cheese! Not a good look:)
Teresa's roommate Dana has great style.
One of her yummy creations.
I made a dress! Thanks to all you inspiring seamstresses out there!
VIX,
PAO,
CURTISE,
HELGA, just to name a few.....It came out awful, but I don't care I completed it. I need to use a pattern next time as this one I just traced from another dress I love. The vintage fabric I used was dirt cheap.
Ya see that clock back there? That was 7:44 AM this morning, not bad for a work at home gal :)
I'm a rainbow!
