Spring Forward

While the storm rages on here in NY, many of you who live in warmer climates have been requesting some spring looks. So, I decided to head indoors for this shoot so I could share a few of my favorite pieces for the new season. A classic trench is such a crucial wardrobe staple, but I also love the idea of an updated version in a color other than traditional khaki. This draped fabric is even more gorgeous in person and is a great lightweight option for the warmer weather. I am absolutely in love with this olive green and can't wait to contrast it against other bright colors (like citron & persimmon) in the coming months. Another easy update for spring is to go lighter with your accessories - as much as I love my oversized chunky boyfriend watch, the pretty pastel hue of this modern wrap style may have just converted me.
