FROM RUSSIA WITH LOVE pt2

i kind of embraced the fact that my blogumentation of russia comes in crappy phone pics. daliah shot around 45 rolls of film of proper ones so i figured it's ok to just snap along lowquality and show you the analogue ones later.

so we were shooting this kind of before-and-after thing with a few models from our favourite shows, just went backstage and asked the ones we liked best if we could shoot them in their own clothes and later their show outfit
felt superawkward walking into the dressing rooms and pick a few, was like going to the pet store and picking one baby dog to take home with all the others looking at you all sad

they all were like cute puppies for real, a little afraid of the two crazy chicks that took them backstage of the backstage area and asked them to do silly stuff

some liked us more

others not so much haha

but we made sure to also see a bit of moscow, for example the pushkin museum!

which for some strange reason had a fashion exhibition spread over most of the ancient art rooms

it's ironic and pretty awesome this church is now referred to as the pussy riot church!

in this country: i dont love a man in a uniform

not only our feelings towards authorities were troubled, so was our nightlife experience
despite the awesome moment when we found this giant pan, i mean common

but later things went a little sad and bad, we tried to go to gay club propaganda but were refused entry, cause girls are not allowed inside, can you believe it? sucked!

fortunately we just said hi to everyone that looked nice and met anton (in checked jacket) and a friend outside the club. they invited us to join them drinking the bottle of whisky cola they had hidden around the corner!

together with fashion week prs sasha and ivan we went into the night to buy more booze

it's illegal to buy alcohol between certain hours so you can only get them in secret shops, unfortunately ours was raided by police shortly before we arrived so we had to wait around a while for the owner to dare open up for us again

later we said hello to even more fashionweek strangers on the street and took them along with us freaking out everybody by taking all those groupshots for documentation purposes hung out at a bar til 6 in the morning and made the poor serious fashion folks miss their first appointments the next day, ooops, sorry
