Sweet Orange & Vanilla Aromatherapy Bath Soak

Aromatherapy is the art of using aromatic plant materials, natural oils and essential oils to alter our mood and emotions. Aromatherapy is beneficial for both our psychological and physically well-being.
Simply put, it's a brilliant shortcut to feeling good!
I recently shared my Sweet Orange & Vanilla Aromatherapy Bath Soak recipe in a video and it's so yummy, I felt it deserved it's own blog post as well. Let's get started!

Sweet Orange & Vanilla Aromatherapy Bath Soak Recipe
Ingredients: Dead Sea Minerals Monoi Tiki Tahiti Coconut Vanilla Oil Sweet Orange Essential Oil

Pour the Dead Sea Minerals into glass jar, fill the jar about half way. (If you don't have Dead Sea Salt/Minerals, you can substitute a blend of epsom salt and coarse sea salt).

Choose your essential oil. I'm using Aura Cacia Sweet Orange.

Add about 20 drops of the essential oil.

Choose your carrier oil. I LOVE this Monoi Tiki Tahiti Coconut Oil infused with vanilla. The scent is oh so tropical and dreamy... Ohh Mah Gawd, just Yesss!!!

Add a splash of the carrier oil. I don't measure but it's approximately 1-2 tablespoons for a jar this size, it also depends on if you prefer the mixture to be on the drier side or more moisture rich.

I like to use a natural wood utensil for mixing oils. This is an Olive wood honey dipper from Tunisia. I purchased it on Etsy here a couple years ago.

Mix ingredients.

Fill up the rest of the jar with the Dead Sea Minerals or your own Epsom & Sea Salt blend.

Finish mixing the ingredients until well blended.

You're done! When you're ready to use your Aromatherapy Bath Soak, just add a scoop into your bath water, close your eyes and imagine yourself floating away on the scent to a dreamy tropical island or spa resort.

Thanks for stopping by my blog today, happy floating! ;)
xoxo, Christine
