Hello lovelies! Today I’m keeping it casual, comfy and cute with my diy polka dot skirt. I came across this fabric at my local fabric mart and knew immediately that I wanted to make a cute and simple mini skirt with it. I love the black and white polka dot print that gives this outfit that extra pop.
This outfit is not only very comfy but also a great transitional look as we start to say farewell to summer and hello to fall. This short skirt and its fun print has summer written all over it but topping it off with this black light weight knit sweater and black flats are saying hello fall. My white bucket bag from Old Navy balances it all out I think. This is a great outfit for running errands and picking the kids up from school. I’m learning that just because you don’t have major events to go to on a regular basis or even an office to walk into during the week, doesn’t mean that you can’t be cute while doing the everyday stay at home mom kind of stuff and be comfy while doing it.
