Stop Sorting Laundry with Purex No Sort #LaundrySimplified

I know I’m not alone when I say I do a lot of laundry. It seems like it’s a never ending cycle that I can never get caught up on. Just when I get everything washed and dried, I go in the laundry room and find a new pile of laundry. I’m always on the lookout for new items to make household chores easier, laundry included. On a trip to Walmart recently, I found a bottle of Purex® No Sort™ for Colors laundry detergent. I’ve used Purex in the past, but I haven’t used them in years. Basically since I was a broke college student. For the price of a bottle of the detergent and the no sorting bit, it was an easy decision to buy it.

Purex claims the rules have changed and I do believe they are right. They said I could stop sorting laundry and wouldn’t have to worry about color bleeding. It’s safe to say I was elated. My husband can easily go through three changes of clothes a day, the kid’s laundry just multiplies, and I have an outfit or two a day. That’s a lot of laundry without trying. Skipping the sorting makes it easier to throw a load of laundry in without much thought. It’s also easy for me to have my 8 year old start a load. It’s amazing what skipping that one step can do. Less sorting, means less of the little loads, which means less laundry all together. Win!

Most people take the time to sort their laundry because they know how essential it is. Purex had the challenge of convincing everyone it was no longer necessary to sort laundry. They are focused on educating their customers on their breakthrough Anti-Color-Transfer Technology which traps loose dyes in the wash and does not let them settle onto other fabrics. As a result, they are able to simplify their laundry routine by doing less sorting and less loads.

Purex® No Sort™ for Colors laundry detergent is good, but they are still working out the final kinks. The back label reads “Purex No Sort detergent is packed with innovation, but it can’t perform miracles, so please follow these words of advice: wash strongly colored fabrics or new pieces of clothing, especially jeans, separately at least 5 times before doing a mixed color load with Purex No Sort detergent.”
