Hey dolls! This evening I have photos for you of the Polished by KPT Cosmic XOdus collection. This collection features ten shades of varying finishes including thermals, duochromes, and holographic glitters.

Polished by KPT A Dream Within A Dream is described as a bold magenta with red undertone thermal nail polish when cold and transitions to a soft milky lilac when warm. It is filled with violet, purple, and blue micro color shifting shimmers. I’m wearing this shade as I type and I love it! The color shift is great and I received so many compliments on it at work. The formula was easy to apply and it built up nicely in three coats. My hands are a little wet in all of the thermal photos, so you’ll have to excuse the excess water in my cuticles.

Polished by KPT Bleeding Stars is described as a in a clear base, this polish is packed with multidimensional red copper, sliver, and rainbow holographic glitters. The glitter was dense and built up easily, but I would prefer this layered. Three coats were used for the photos below and you can see a little bit of patchiness, even though that wasn’t visible in real life.

Polished by KPT Lambda Max 510 is described as a bright green thermal lacquer and transitions to a pale silvery olive green. It is filled with micro gold shimmer and scattered holographic affect. The transition was more subtle on this polish as it stays in the green family. Lambda Max 510’s formula was good and it applied evenly in three coats.

Polished by KPT Light-years is described as a in a clear base, this stunning multidimensional sliver holographic is also filled with micro sliver holo bar glitters. I like the bits of gold shimmer in this shade. The glitter was dense and built up nicely in three coats. While you can’t see the patchiness in real life, you can see a little bit in the photos below.

Polished by KPT Mars Escapade is described as a in a deep purple with blue undertone base, this thermal transitions to a stunning light reddish orange when warm. It is filled with red, rose pink, and green micro color shifting shimmers. The color shift in this polish is quite amazing! I wore Mars Escapade the entire Thanksgiving week. The formula was great and applied effortlessly in three coats.

Polished by KPT Nalani is described as a a rich navy blue jelly polish filled with blue and purple color shifting shimmers with the addition of sliver and rainbow holographic glitters. The addition of the purple shimmer makes the shade unique. Nalani’s jelly formula was on the sheer side. There was still visible nail line at three coats, so four were used for the photos below.

Polished by KPT Underneath the Milky Way is described as a black base filled with a deep royal purple duo-chrome shimmer flakes with sliver holographic glitters. When view at different angle, a subtle orangy-gold to red color shift. The formula was thin, but not runny. Opacity was achieved in three coats. You can see the color shift at the corners of each nail.

Polished by KPT Vacay to Venus is described as in a clear base, this polish is packed with multidimensional rose pink, sliver, and rainbow holographic glitters. This was my favorite of the glitter toppers. Vacay to Venus’ formula was easy to use and the glitter was dense. Three coats were used in the photos below.

Polished by KPT Wave Function is described as a a bright berry base with red undertones packed with multidimensional red, violet, sliver, and rainbow holographic glitters. You can never go wrong with berry shades in my book. Wave Function’s formula was good. It was a little sheer still at two coats, so three were used in the photos below, along with top coat.

Polished by KPT Wreath for the Stars is described as a black base filled with emerald green duo-chrome micro shimmer flakes with sliver holographic glitters. When viewed at different angles, a subtle blue to violet color shift. The formula was on the thin side, but not runny. It applied easily and three coats were used for opacity.

As mentioned in the descriptions above, the glitters in this collection are all in clear bases. I layered one coat of each over black to give another option for how they can be worn.

Overall, this is a great collection from Polished by KPT. The thermals are amazing as always and I like the added shimmer in the duochromes. The pre-order for the Polished by KPT Cosmic XOdus collection has ended, but they will be available for purchase here on 12.15.14. Be sure to keep up with them on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter for updates.
