HOLY MOLY! Dune is killing it with their shoe game at the moment. I saw these dupes on their website and it was love at first sight. They're open enough for some ventilation for your feet but closed enough to feel like a shoe, so that you don't have to worry about having perfectly pedicured feet or chipped nail polish, and you definitely need not worry about that one toe nail that always grows really strange and wonky. Basically the perfect summer flats for those of us who have nightmares about all the toes that are out during the summer time. Myself included. Although I usually just worry about my own toes (my best friend will be falling off her bed with laughter at this point). Either way, I think they're a pretty close match to the Valentino ones and will essentially give the same effect. Not to mention, you'll still be able to have your dinner for the rest of the month and will sleep like a baby knowing that your toes are safe and sound from the rest of the world, until boots are safe to wear again.
And if that's not the most legit reason to buy shoes, then I don't know what is.
