Mitsubishi 2015 Outlander

Last month I was given a 2015 Mitsubishi Outlander SE to drive for a week. So great. I learned to drive on a SUV so despite what my friend’s thought I wasn’t at all intimidated by the size. It’s described as a compact crossover SUV, so it never felt too big at all. This baby seats 7 (I had at most 4 of my friends in the car). The back area I’m sitting on in the above photo raises up to become additional seating. I actually made a drive to Orlando and met up with some friends who had driven up the night before. It’s greattttt on gas. On the drive back I stopped just to be safe and was so surprised at how little it cost to fill up. I have cruise control on my car but I’ve honestly never used it. Definitely utilized it on my drive. So necessary. It makes your life so much easier.

The Outlander does 31 mpg on the highway. It’s a push to start engine. I definitely took advantage of the heated seats. The rear-view camera is a blessing. I don’t know how I lived before these things that are STANDARD on the Outlander. I love the touchscreen display and way as long as you have your bluetooth on your phone as soon as you get back in the car your music starts back up again. The bluetooth situation is so key for me as I must have music on my drives. Really sets the mood and keeps me going on my back and forth to events and such.

In my daily life I go to the post office often since I run an online boutique and sell a lot of my excess clothing on sites like Poshmark so cargo space is important. The other day I picked up $100 in dry cleaning, went to the grocery store, picked up and dropped off packages at the post office blah blah. So it’s nice to have the room available if I need it. No clutter in the backseat. I really felt safe driving this baby (probably thinking about the front pedestrian impact crumple zones) and everything just flows really well and it has 7 airbags including a drivers knee airbag. I just can’t get over the amazing things that seem like big luxuries to me are standard on this vehicle. I didn’t want to return it of course haha. I definitely feel like I’d be happy driving one of these. They start at $23,195…so who’s got me on this for Christmas?
