I think I told you guys that once upon a time I was afraid of maxi skirts and dresses, right? Well, not anymore! Sometimes I need a bit of variety within the shorts and miniskirts that I so often favor. I know that the high-low trend that was so hugely in vogue last year isn't as prevalent, but I can't help it, I love me a slight high-low. This dress could be tailored a little shorter, as it reaches just an inch or two above the ground, but I really like the vague black, white, and gray pattern and wide lace detailing at the hem. I paired with a simple triangle necklace and flat sandals for comfort as my friends and I wandered around the LA Country Fair earlier that day.

I'm in LA for a short period of time but I'm just wondering... why are all the delicious Taiwanese places only down here? (I'm looking at you, 85° C and Din Tain Fung.) Come up to San Francisco, please!
