first aid kit concert
K straight up, these chicks were awesome. I discovered First Aid Kit from iTunes earlier this year. You know when you buy an album off of iTunes and they give you a few options to try out that sound similar? Thats how I found them! Special thanks go out to Apple iTunes for connecting me with this band.
The concert was at The Danforth Music Hall in Toronto last Friday. Tickets were $35 which in my opinion were seriously underpriced. I've been to my fair share of concerts but I would have to say that this was up there. The venue is really intimate and their music brought in a really great crowd of people. At one point, they unplugged (microphone and everything) and sang with the crowd. It was really beautiful.
