Getting Back on Track with Rigby and Peller

GOOD LORD, I haven't posted since February.... I think I said somewhere before that it's ironic that I probably have the most to talk about right now and yet zero time to type it. If you've been wondering what I'm up to, Instagram gives a pretty good synopsis, whilst not a lot has changed since my last 'Update'. Apart from... My wedding is now just three weeks away. Yes, THREE WEEKS. Be-still my beating heart (with anxiety).

So I guess how better to get back on track than to discuss a little 'wedding fashion', namely, one's undergarments. I recently had the absolute pleasure of being invited down to a branch of esteemed lingerie retailers Rigby and Peller for a fitting.

Their exceptional customer service really started with the first email. Apparently, it had become a little apparent that I was yet to have a bridal lingerie fitting and that this may indeed be quite the conundrum. I was quite the package, needing a low-backed option, something *ahem* 'secure' and with zero visible seams.

On arriving at the Westfield London branch, I was greeted (with a latte - awesome) by Vanessa and Natalie, a duo who weren't about to let my unique needs stop them solving all my bra-and-pant-related problems. After a proper fitting (thoroughly recommended - I am an entirely different size and shape to the one I've come accustomed to) and a dissection of 'the dress', a number of different options were bought to me.

From the luxe comfort of the fitting room, and my Rigby and Peller robe, I was able to try solution after solution until it was just right. Needless to say I left the store, exciting, exquisitely wrapped purchase in hand, with a huge smile on my face and feeling like I'd really been listened to and that no lump or bump would dare to daunt me on my all-important day.
