I know I never got around to sharing photos from our honeymoon. There are just so many and I tried to go through them, but couldn’t figure out which ones would be best to share that accurately describe our trip. Instead, I’ve decided to share some of the photos we took with disposable cameras throughout the trip! Before digital cameras became so popular, I used to have a cheap film camera and use disposable cameras often in high school. It’s nice to just take a photo and be surprised a couple weeks later, seeing how it comes out. With digital cameras and camera phones, I don’t think I need to admit sometimes how many times I take a picture to try to get it perfect. It’s embarrassing, sometimes, even to myself!

I think these photos, more than the others we took, depict our honeymoon perfectly! Lots of laughter, food, sightseeing, and more food!

Seattle, WA // We spent almost a whole week in Seattle. We went to Pike Place almost everyday, whether it was for food, souvenirs, or like I said, more food. Seattle has a really different vibe than LA, and I’d love to visit again. Perhaps expanding our areas of exploring.

Grove of the Patriarchs // Mount Rainer

Of course, I also stood in line for a coffee at the original Starbucks location!

We only had one night in Seaside, OR, but it was so beautiful. It’s true that there is not much to do there, it is a very small, tourist beach town. I could have used another day or so though! I love the old school feeling of the little town! We walked down main street, rented a surrey to bike around the town, and the best root beer floats! We also visited The Astoria Column. I was only able to be outside for a minute because I’m terrified of heights!

We ended our trip with a few days in Portland, Or. I think this was my favorite part of the trip. My mom’s family is from Portland, so we got to spend some time with my Aunt and Uncle. I had not been there since I was 13 and I had never experience Portland during our family trips, so it was really cool to be able to explore the downtown areas and eat at all the really great restaurants. We were super tourists the whole trip, but especially in Portland. We found a scavenger hunt that took us all afternoon and into the evening since we found so many other places along the way to go back to and visit.

I was super excited about visiting this sign. I was even more excited what was across the street from this sign: VooDoo Doughnuts! I think we went there no less than three times in the four days we were there.

Pine State Biscuits. The best biscuits and gravy!

We’re classy. Champaign in the hotel room!

Cheers!
