Stillness isn't easy, is it? It is uncomfortable, and it feels unnatural. Savasana, or final resting pose, in Holy Yoga offers us a time to come and be still at the feet of the one who breathes life into our lungs. Just like any other spiritual discipline, being still takes practice.
We are going to practice that today. At the end of your yoga practice, or when you can find just a couple minutes to be alone and still, find your breathe. Breathe deeply and invite Jesus into the deep corners of your heart. Make space for Him to speak. When your mind wanders, just gently speak the name of Jesus to bring your attention back to Him. Maybe today isn't about Him speaking, but maybe it is just about sitting in His glorious presence.
Enter in, friends.
