Simple Style For The Busy Girl v.3
So, last week we talked "loud" leggings and fun boots. This week I am bringing you my go-to outfit (when I am not in yoga pants that is). A good pair of skinny jeans and a printed tee. This outfit is easy, comfortable, and cute.
First, jeans. I'm of the opinion that every woman needs one pair of well-fitting jeans. To be honest, I am still on the hunt for a pair of jeans that will fit me well (feel free to leave tips!). The closest fit I have found is at H&M. But, still, they don't fit me exactly like I'd like. So, the hunt continues for a well fitted, affordable pair of skinnies.
My tendancy is to revert to a dark wash skinny, simply because it looks a little dressier, goes well with anything, and is flattering. But that is completely a preference.
Now, you need to know something about me: I have quite the obsession with t-shirts. But, I'm really, really, really picky about the feel and cut of the t-shirt. It must be soft (NO CANVAS) and it needs to fit in a feminine way. When I find a good fitting, cute tee, I will wear it over and over again. There is something beautiful about a girl who is comfortable in skinnies and a tee.
The t-shirt I am wearing here I ADORE. It is from Little Loves Clothing, a company I love, love, love to support. I love the purpose of Little Loves and the heart they have for adoption. And I love the message of all their shirts. Because, let's be honest: most days when I look into the mirror; frazzled and tired, I need a reminder that I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Little Loves Clothing was created out of a desire to expand our own family through adoption. But we quickly realized we wanted to take our passion for families, orphan care, and adoption and help others along way. We support an organization called Abide Family Center, in Uganda, that helps family preservation, so children do not have to go into orphanages. We also choose one family a month to help that is pursuing adoption. It's just super fun to create shirts that inspire and encourage. All shirt designs are hand-drawn first and then transferred to the computer. We are a mama and papa duo with a heart for God's people and rad design.
