Faux Evergreen Globe Ornament

This is an updated version of my evergreen glass globe ornaments. While I like the look of the real evergreen ornaments better, the pipe cleaner version does not have to be replaced every year; plus, there is a little bit of sparkle in the faux version.

The materials are simple. You need:

• faux evergreen pipe cleaners
• silver or another metallic color pipe cleaner
• clear glass globe ornaments
• wire cutters

Simply cut the evergreen pipe cleaners into different lengths. For my 4" glass globe ornament, I used a 6" length, a 4" length, and a 3" length. You can do different lengths for each ornament so that they're all a bit different. Curve them a bit before pushing them into the globe so that they take the round shape of the ornament.

Twist the silver pipe cleaner around your finger to make a spiral. Gently feed the spiral into the center of the ornament after the evergreen pipe cleaners are placed inside.

Replace the cap of the ornament, attach a hook, and you're ready to trim a tree; alternatively, string these ornaments on a cord to create a unique holiday garland.
