Dry Winter Skin Gets the “Midas Touch” from Gold Elements’ D’Or Facial Cream

I am always on the look out for beauty products that will improve the quality of my skin. I know that there is no “magic bullet” that will erase years off of my face, but I do know there are plenty of wonderful products available that can make my skin look and feel great.

I don’t have the greatest complexion to begin with. My face tends to get dry and I get red patches on my cheeks (Rosacia). Occasionally I still break out with acne too.

I do have fine lines and wrinkles on my face (especially around my mouth) which I find bothersome too. I think they make me look old, even though I’m not old.

One of the “perks” of being a blogger is being afforded the opportunity to try out products I might not otherwise know about. Such is the case with Gold Elements D’Or Facial Cream.

A multi task, gentle, moisturizing cream with refreshing ingredients, that assists in counteracting the external evidences of skin aging. Helps to condition and rebalance the skin, leaving it feeling fresh, smooth, and healthy looking.

First and foremost I love the packaging. I neglected to take a photo of it when it arrive. The jar came inside a box that was wrapped in a lovely ribbon. That was a nice touch.

Gold Elements’ D’Or Facial Cream comes in a jar. To use simply dab your fingers into the jar to get some of the cream, then gently apply it to your skin. That is easy enough to do.

The cream is very thick, but it doesn’t feel think when you apply it to your skin. It’s as if it “dissolves” and immediately absorbs into your skin. Once it’s absorbed you don’t even feel it. Your skin does not feel heavy, greasy, sticky or weighed down in any way.

I believe that “less is more” and I don’t go crazy when it comes to beauty products. On most days all I wear is some face powder, eye liner and mascara. I don’t like the feel of heavy make up on my face. For that reason I tend to wash my face immediately when I get home. I prefer the feel of freshly washed skin.

I worried that I would feel this cream on my skin when it was applied, since it’s thick in the jar. That has not been the case at all. I barely notice I am wearing it.

I like how it makes my skin feel. My skin feels soft. I also have not had any issues with dry patches or breakouts since using the product. So far, so good. I am pleased with Gold Elements’ D’Or Facial Cream.

The only downside I can see is that it’s not cheap. The jar will set you back $149.00. For someone who lives on a budget I cannot justify that kind of money – even though I do enjoy the product. Maybe some day when money is not an issue I would certainly consider purchasing more of this product.
