3 Casual Date Ideas

Seeing as how Valentine's Day is this weekend, I thought I'd share some super casual date ideas that my husband and I enjoy. They are great for February 14th or any other day throughout the year!

TRIP TO THE TOY STORE
If you're still a kid at heart like Jason and I, than you'd probably thoroughly enjoy a trip to Toys "R" Us or even the toy department at Target. We find it really exciting to explore all the newest toys and games on the shelves and always end up laughing and exclaiming over awesome finds. It's especially fun if you grab a coffee or smoothie on the way and enjoy a little pick-me-up while you're browsing!

PICNIC AT THE PARK
Jason and I haven't had a picnic together in a few years, at least. However, at the beginning of this year we talked about planning more dates where there aren't any screens or media present. A picnic sounded perfect to us! Plus, we both want to try out his new remote control helicopter somewhere other than our living room! Ha!

MOVIE NIGHT
If you don't feel like going out to see a movie, watching one at home is just as fun. You can watch a favorite that you already own, find one on Netflix or even check Redbox for new releases. Be sure to wear something comfortable, grab a blanket, and if you feel like it, make some tea or hot cocoa to share.
