Easing Anxiety with doTERRA

The last few months have been both exciting and challenging, and while the future looks bright for our family, the in between has brought with it more anxiety than I've dealt with in awhile. While stress is always a part of life and there are a variety of ways to help manage it, there are those seasons or life transitions that want to introduce more challenges than sometimes feel manageable.

While there are a variety of things I focus on to help my body function when I'm feeling anxious, one of the most helpful ones has been using essential oils to help calm my nerves and let go of some of the physical tension that shows up. I have been diffusing doTERRA's Balance and rubbing a few drops of both Balance and Frankincense on my wrists and the back of my neck when I feel myself start to feel all the feelings and within minutes I'm able to return to a calm place and my body settles.

I also incorporate Lavender when I'm feeling more anxious before bed and it helps me fall asleep when the fears of the unknown want to play themselves out over and over again.

I like to think of these three oils, as well as all of the oils we use, as just another tool in our tool kit for helping our bodies be as healthy as they can. I love that I can see the evidence of their effectiveness so quickly, as well. There's nothing like feeling your body relax and be able to function again when you've got little people that are depending on you to be available to them. I like to tease that it's magic but really it's just chemistry.

Essential oils have been around for centuries but I'm so thankful they'd made it mainstream. It's a trend that is actually benefitting so many families in so many ways. If you have any questions or are interested in ordering oils, e-mail me at [email protected] or go to Denbow doTERRA.
