Sugar and Spice: Gingerbread White Russians

by Sarah Steimer

Some of our gingerbread recipes will be nice… this one will be naughty (well, depends on how many you’ve had, really).

  • ice
  • sugar and cinnamon (for the rim)
  • 4 ounces milk (preferably whole milk)
  • 4 ounces vodka
  • 4 ounces Kahlua
  • 3 teaspoons molasses
  • 1/8 teaspoon ginger
  • pinch cinnamon
  • pinch all spice

Wet the rims of two glasses and dip in the cinnamon-sugar mixture. Add ice cubes to each glass.

Place a couple of ice cubes in a cocktail shaker, along with the milk, vodka and Kahlua. Shake to combine. Add the molasses, ginger, cinnamon and all spice and shake again until the mixture is cold.

Divide the cocktail between the two glasses. Top with whipped cream and some of the cinnamon-sugar mixture.

Makes 2 White Russians.
