Real Wedding | Michael & Jenni

This lovely and fun-filled wedding was sent to us by Monika Greenway Photography. We love the fun details – superhero t-shirts, spiderman cufflinks, and fox details representing their last name – Foxe! They had a beautiful ceremony and the reception looked like loads of fun. The bride even serenaded her hubby with a special love song!

Michael & Jenni met while playing on a softball team. Jenni knew he was into her because he would look at her and when Jenni would look his way he would look back. This process continued. They speak their own language and have a personal accent that is only spoken to each other, they call it their “special voice”. He likes comics and is a Doctor, and she has a passion for church ministry and taught middle schoolers while living in California. They now are off to live a new journey together as Mr. and Mrs. Dr. Michael & Jenni Foxe.

From Jenni: ”Michael and I are huge fans of Back to the Future, early when we were dating he mentioned that he wanted his first song to be “Earth Angel.” My heart melted that day, I have always wanted that to be my first song as husband and wife.

(As a surprise) I sang Michael, Misty, a jazz classic written by Erroll Garner in 1954. I am a sucker for songs with great lyrics, because they are crafted and they make the song meaningful. I believe that songs are an amazing outlet to express how you feel. I love Misty and I am always up for surprising Michael. He didn’t know what was going on, which was half the fun. Singing to him was just my way of expressing, and reminding him how much I love him.”
