MindGrub Release:

New Local Real Estate App Helps People Find Homes with Parking Regionally Targeted ParkRE app to launch in March

BALTIMORE, MD, March 10, 2015 With their new mobile application, ParkRE has put urban real estate in the palms of homebuyers in the Greater Baltimore Area. Scheduled to launch midMarch, this free mobile app will be available for both iOS and Android devices.

Features of the application include an interactive map to identify homes with offstreet parking, unique filters to sort listings based on types of parking, and beacon alerts that notify users when a ParkRE property is nearby. The application’s developer,Mindgrub, worked with Metropolitan Regional Information Systems when developing the application. The vision of the mobile app was developed by Ronald Monk:

“We noticed that offstreet parking was a huge trend in local, urban home buyers and we wanted to capitalize on this trend while also serving the buyer’s needs,” said Monk, a Realtor at Berkshire Hathaway HomeService PenFed Realty. “We now have an incredible advantage over other real estate search engines. With this app, we can better serve our customers by giving them the power to find a place that can house their family, and their car.”

The process of discovering an urban property with offstreet parking has been simplified with ParkRE’s new application. Through the use of beacons placed in lock boxes at listed homes, potential buyers can receive locationbased notifications about an available home, complete with offstreet parking. When a buyer is in close proximity of a property, the application sends the user a notification with the property information. Buyers can also connect with Realtors directly in the application, and send property inquiries.

To celebrate its release, ParkRE will be hosting a launch party on March 31, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on the second floor of Brewers Cask located at 1236 Light Street, Baltimore, MD 21230. Special guest, Mayor Stephanie RawlingsBlake will be in attendance.
