Southern Christmas Dinner Recipes
We had so much fun with the Southern Thanksgiving Recipes collection, I thought I’d post my Christmas menu too!
I have to have ham on Christmas. I have to! And there are a few recipes that just go with ham so I have to have them too!
Coca-Cola Glazed Ham
Black-Eyed Peas (the leftovers to be heated up and eaten again on New Year’s in this Southern tradition!)
Sweet Potato Praline Casserole (yeah, I know we had this on Thanksgiving too but it just goes SO WELL with ham!)
Greasy Rice Since I can’t use the pan juices from this ham recipe for Greasy Rice, I buy 2 ham hocks and stew them down in 2 cups of water in a small crock pot the day before.
