Vineyards & Cherry Picking!

Part 2 of our recent visit to Niagara-On-The-Lake. Beyond its historic charm, the old town shopping district with its quaint shops, boutiques and restaurants, this town is famous for its countless wineries and fruit production.

We visited one of the region's wineries; the Inniskillin Winery. A lovely and relaxing place and one of the largest producers of icewine (mmmmm so good!) If you haven't tried icewine, I suggest you do. This was my first experience! At first it comes off super, super sweet, but then your tastebuds start to have a party!

Our little adventure continued with cherry picking! Oh how I love fresh fruit, especially when I can pick my own off the tree and munch on a few extra while I'm at it :) yum yum.

And of course, more relaxing walks in the old town...
