THE BEST NONDAIRY MILKSHAKE

Yesterday, I had sort of an internal renewal with my goal of eating more healthy. Ever since the holidays, I had been eating bad on a more continuous basis, and I was starting to not like myself every time I put a bite in my mouth.

So yesterday, I watched a great movie at Hungryforchange.tv that reminded me the root reason why I felt so angry with myself when I ate more than one bad meal a day. I encourage anyone who can to watch this documentary and just listen to what they have to say.

So with my renewed energy, I went home and made some almond milk and fixed this amazing shake that was probably one of the few first reasons that made me realize that eating healthy doesn't mean eating unsavory food.

I have noticed that dairy and I just don't get along - even on the days I want to cheat. So I always make my own almond milk which is super easy to do too.

I drank it while I snacked on this homemade breakfast bar topped with homemade peanut butter and honey. Great snack; I promise. Since you do have to dehydrate the bar, I wouldn't expect many to do it. But the shake is so easy. A blender and five minutes can do wonders.
