sun-dappled chambray
If ever I had a weekend uniform, this would be it: a basic tunic and stretchy pants spruced up with some flashy accessories like a statement bag, fun shoes, or crazy sunnies (see below for all of the above!). It's comfy while running errands but still presentable across a brunch table. Happy weekend!
Top: J. Crew. This lightweight cotton chambray is kind of my go-to shirt this summer.
Pants: Kenneth Cole. (Secret:) I have basically lived in these pants for three years (this is my third version). They fit like leggings, with the thickness of pants and the comfort of sweatpants. My girlfriends have kindly offered to burn them for me. Bag: Vintage. Shoes: Dolce Vita. Red suede, leopard calf hair, black leather, gold and yellow piping = 3 shoes in1.
Shades: H&M. Oversized 60s sunnies in tortoise and yellow lacquer. Makeup: Mac "Ruby Woo" lipstick. Jewelry: J. Crew, Michael Kors, Hermes, Urban Outfitters.
