The Best Longwear Lipsticks to Last You Through the Holidays

Come the holidays, the last thing you want to worry about is your lipstick. Between sips and nibbles (or, okay, chugs and shoveling food in your mouth), you want your lipstick to last you through all that your evening might bring.

Seeing as there’s no shortage of lipsticks that make the claim that they’re meant to “last all night”, I decided to put several long-lasting formulas to the ultimate test. After recruiting a couple of friends, we decided to see if any of the lipsticks can stand up to the challenge. There were several components: we could only apply once (no re-application), and had to either eat one full meal, go for a round of drinks, or go on a date with the lipstick still on. If the lipstick could last through that, it was declared a winner. If it faded (or looked like it desperately needed reapplication), it failed the test.
