November and December are two extremely popular months for black tie events, from graduation balls, to formal office black tie dinners. It's a time which is all about evening gowns and glamorous looks. This can be an expensive time too so I've put together a selection of looks from the best value to the luxury.

This Coast number oozes sophistication! For ladies who would have a smaller bust, the colour contrast is perfect to give the illusion of a fuller top half. For this you will need a good t-shirt style padded bra for definition. It will create a beautiful silhouette for complete hourglass curves.

For warmth heading to an event, this cropped jacket with a faux fur trim keeps your look sophisticated and classic in true Audrey Hepburn style.

This is my ultimate wish list look for a black tie event. The dress is sure to get you attention with the fullness on the bottom half and its overall ballerina feel to it. The mesh detail gives a youthful vibe to a black tie look which is effortless and chic. Little jewelry would be needed with this look so stick to something like simple drop earrings. As this is of course a wish list I've added these white gold and diamond earrings and a contrast clutch from Givenchy for an added youthful vibe. A simple high heel finishes off a look like this just perfectly to achieve a true Hollywoods black tie look.
