Festive Events

2 major events in Montreal's bloggersphere this holiday season

First - A photo shoot with my favorite fashionistas

Clockwise...
Uncle George soon 90 years old
Dad - 82 years old
Dearest Hubby
Fabulous Aunt Marguerite soon 90 years old

Second - A visit to a special church in my hood

Très- Saint -Nom- de- Jésus Church was built between 1903 and 1906 and was declared unsafe and closed in 2010
The archbishop of Montreal declared that they couldn't assume the church's upkeep nor the major masonry work necessary
There were talks of demolition and sale of its Casavant organs
But it was saved and reopened on Christmas Eve
We went Christmas day and what grand sight it was!
I knew it was mind blowing but not to that extent!
I was so proud that this church was saved
Nowadays we witness much to often demolition of historic buildings
It's a good feeling to think that a group of people cared enough to save it
Here are some pics ,but i kid you not ,they don't give it justice
If you want to know more about the church it click here
Happy New Year to all
I know! ! have been a lazy blogger

I'm very happy and hope all goes well!

Will see you soon!

Love
