3 HAIR TRENDS FOR 2015

Tired of your own hair style? I found three hair trends for 2015 you shouldn’t miss!

We all have some periods in which we hate our hair. It’s fluffy, too short, too long, not cut right or simply in a bad shape. I found out recently that it wasn’t really the condition of my hair to blame, but myself. I just simply didn’t know what to do with it. I had no inspiration left, other then going to the hair dresser and getting another hair cut. But wait! There’s still hope. If you put some energy, time and some money in getting styling products, you might get your hair mojo back, just like I did. Here are three hair trends for you to create in just 20 to 30 minutes each. Before you start any of those, please make sure you’ve protected your hair with a styling or straightening protection spray.

Messy pony tail

An easy and quick hair style that doesn’t need much care. Start with straightening your hair (or not) to pick your style of messy pony tail. I prefer this one, but make sure you don’t do it too often to avoid split ends. After that put in a high or low pony tail. I prefer a low one, just above the end of your neck. Make sure it’s tight and start backcombing your pony tail a bit. You don’t have to do this entirely, but just start with backcombing some strands. The crucial part comes: start pulling the tie a bit so the pony tail get’s loser, and tighten it up again to push the hair forward and create messy sides and top. Repeat this process until you can pluck some strings of hair from the sides and top and make it look more messy. End with a tight pony tail again to make sure it stays in. Don’t forget to finish it with hair spray!

Fish braid

If you have long hair, this is the easiest braid to create and it looks phenomenal. Start with dividing your hair in two large sections, parting it in the middle. Pull a strand of hair from the outside of the left section. Pull it over to the inside of the right section. The more skinnier the strands, the more intricate the braid looks. Repeat this on the right side, with pulling a right strand to the inside of the left section. Repeat this until the end and tie it. Voila.

Natural mixed waves

If you have some time left, a straightener and a curling iron you can easily take up this challenge. Start by straightening your hair and part it in the middle. Take out a small, flat strand of hair on top of the left or right side and curl it around the curling iron. Wait 20 to 30 seconds (depending on the heat of your curling iron) before you let go and then use some hair spray to fix it. Take another string with two cm’s or an inch of straight hair apart from the first one and do the same. After you’ve the whole top of your hair, carefully comb your fingers through the curls until they’re a bit less curly and more messy. Fix it with some hair spray and you’re done!
