Slavik,The Homeless Ukranian Fashion Icon

Discovered by photographer Yuko Dyachyshyn in 2011, Slavik is a 55 year old homeless gypsy but not an ordinary one. For two years, Dyachyshyn photographed and became friends with Slavik who was very delighted to be his model but he never revealed his personal history — no one knows where he came from or what he is he became became homeless. Slavik's wardrobe is comprised of donations from homeless shelters and what he finds in the trash. He almost never wear the same clothing which is very strange and unusual for a homeless man. Besides changing his outfit everyday, he also changes his hairdo and his beard regularly. Indeed, Slavik is the most fashionable homeless guy in the world.
