Flashback to two weeks ago: my sister sends me a Whatsapp message saying "UGH that floral Zalando dress from the commercial is SO PURDY". I hadn't even seen the commercial yet, but I saw it a few days later when watching some music videos on youtube. The commercial basically revolves around two women lounging around in bed and talking about how one of them wants a dress as (insert adjective) as (insert flower), and BAM you see this dress. And yes, it really is very, very pretty. So imagine my delight when I found a box on my doorstep containing this very dress! I felt kind of bad for my sister, but not so bad that I wasn't stoked to put this one on. I was so in love when I had finally altered the armholes that I promptly shot a bajillion selfies, resulting in my new blog header.
I got it in a size UK10 (UK sizes are always TINY on me), and I actually opened up the armholes a bit to get a better fit - these dresses with fitted bodices always pinch my armpits, but now it looks and feels absolutely perfect. A bigger size would have been too wide in the waist. And I obviously couldn't wait to put it on when that one, perfect, sunny Tuesday came around last week. I am wearing nude nylons in these shots, but that wasn't even necessary. I'm so excited for more sunny days, and more times enjoying this dress!
AND it has pockets, and comes in three slightly different prints (this one is my favourite). Doesn't get much better than that. The only thing I would personally change is to have the hemline hit at knee length, but that's just my personal preference. You dig?
