Shearling biker jacket and Fair Isle knit

I bet you've heard (read) me say (write) this a THOUSAND times before (OK not literally a thousand times), but shopping becomes so much easier and so much more fun when you know your style better. When you know which pieces will just gather dust in your closet versus which pieces you'll keep on wearing. Case in point: everything I'm wearing here. The boots are elegant but comfortable, and super versatile. I've had them since 2013, and I wear them all the time. The skinnies are my ideal version of denim as well: soft, stretchy, super skinny, cuffed, low-medium waisted. When it comes to denim, this is pretty much all I wear except for boyfriend jeans now and then. The knit is the oldest piece, it has been in my possession since 2010 which is agezzzz. Check me out wearing it here, vintage Styling Dutchman. I still love it, it's perfectly boxy, and the white on marbled grey goes with everything. Finally, this shearling biker jacket: amazing value for money, and still looking great after a year of heavy wear.
These are items that are comfortable, versatile and look great on me., aka the Styling Dutchman holy trinity. I simply pass on items that are only kind of what I want, or items that LOOK great but don't feel great. Which is also the reason I don't shop online as often anymore, I miss the tactile dimension. Now, I'm not saying I never purchase dumb shit anymore, but I've definitely gotten better at shopping. I guess all that practice was good for something.
