Gordons Chemist Beauty Haul – Sally Hansen Airbrush Legs Tried & Tested Review

Next up in my Gordons Chemists beauty haul is Sally Hansen Airbrush Legs, the spray and the lotion!

I’ve heard many great things about Airbrush legs – great for covering up thread veins, varicose veins and scars – and Kim Kardashian even said it was ‘a godsend’ to help cover up her Psoriasis.

When I posted a quick Instagram snap of my first test of Sally Hansen’s Airbrush Legs I couldn’t believe how many Sugahfix readers were totally in love with this product.
Claire Cleland said ‘It’s amazing! It literally airbrushes your legs!’
Danielle Rose said, “It is amazing. It goes on really well but wash I off before bed #messybedclothes”
Emma Taylor said, “I hate tan. This is the only thing I’ll wear.”
Sinead O’Toole said “Can’t believe you’re only buying this now. I use it on my arms as well. Great tan!”

I was definitely late to Sally’s party but I’m here now and thank goodness!

I’m a big fan of wash off tans as you don’t have to worry about potential patchy knees or ankles and they can also be used as your wear off tan is on its last legs! I usually favour wash off tans that are more translucent like Naked Skin by Vita Liberata but if you like a bit of coverage with your tan tint then Sally Hansen Airbrush Legs is the product for you.

I foolishly picked up the spray and the lotion (they’re exactly the same!#rookiemistake) and while I can see the appeal of spraying the product on your legs – it does cause a mess. I’d advise spraying the tan directly onto a mitt and then applying to the skin with the mitt. Same goes for the lotion.

The tan goes on quickly and smoothly and it doesn’t dry it too quickly that you can’t buff it in and make sure there are no streaky areas and blend around the knees and feet.

One leg done! Looking good!

I have some little spider veins on my legs and while they didn’t vanish completely the tan really did cover them up nicely. If you have fair hair and are in between waxing – you can even get away with a quick layer of Sally and get those pins out when you really shouldn’t. Result!

I tested the Medium shade, which gave a lovely warm glowy effect. I’ll definitely invest in the lighter shade for when I don’t want to look like I have tan on my legs but I need a little ‘something’.

Sally Hansen Airbrush Legs Medium Glow Usually £10.15 – offer price at Gordons Chemists £7.99
Sally Hansen Airbrush Legs Lotion usually £13.95 offer price at Gordons Chemists £10.50
