OUI OUI PARIS

DETAILS:
ASOS coat, COS sweater, Uniqlo jeans, Supreme beanie, Opening Ceremony OCLA Satchel, Nike Air Max 1 Liquid Silver pack and Prada nylon and leather gloves.

So FINALLY, a post about Paris. As if my instagram overload of Paris photos back in early December was not overkill enough, here’s one of TWO Paris posts with tons of photos! It was just my second time in Paris after 10 years and Jason’s first time so we did “some” of the site seeing touristy things and lots of the shopping and eating type touristy things. Paris is such a huge walking city that every night we would come home with extra full bellies and a serious case of the jelly feet. Luckily, our hotel was on Rue de Bellechasse so we were literally across the Pont Royal bridge from the Jardin des Tulleries and the Louvre. We walked through there every morning to get breakfast and shop along Rue Saint-Honoré.

I left Paris with some really special goodies from & Other Stories, both Ladurée and Pierre Hermé, Céline (!!!!) and COS. All in all, I’d say it was a pretty damn perfect trip :) We really loved Paris (me a tiny bit less than Jason since my feet were serious monsters the whole time) and can’t wait for whenever our next Paris trip is! Hopefully it wouldn’t be as cold either..Okay more about Paris in another post!

P.S. Thanks to everyone for the extra warm welcome back for my new and improved blog and also thanks for all the giveaway entries! The winner has been emailed and notified so please check your inbox for that winning ticket! Hope to have better and more giveaways in the future! THANKS again ٩꒰ ˘ ³˘꒱۶~♡

Best photographer ever

Walking from our hotel through the Tulleries towards the Louvre (or more importantly, towards Rue Saint-Honoré)

The Louvre before 9am, lines barely starting already!

Breakfast at super cute l’epicerie Claus.

Soooo ready for breakfast (also some of my pink hair still lingering..)

My weakness: FRENCH BREAD!!!! And this homemade peach jam..guhhhhhh

Scrambled eggs with crispy bacon! We shared two sets which both came with a bread basket, the main meal (scrambled eggs and a big breakfast), tea, coffee or hot chocolate AND homemade dessert!

Sooooo cute, love Claus.

SUPER bundled up! That morning was REALLY COLD.

Checking out some of our favourite brands in the hidden side alleys along Rue Saint-Honoré

and…of course Ladurée! Picked up a few boxes of goodies for some of Jason’s work friends and for meeeee but I couldn’t wait and had to have one of their GIANT citron mega-macarons! Yumyumyum..

HUGE!

All for me..memememememe!

Checking out the area around Pigalle, picked up this awesome Christmas souvenir.

Finally ending our looooong ass day at Les Cocottes, a recommendation by our chef-expert friends. How pretty is the doorway! I love how festive all the restaurants and shops are in Paris all dressed up in giant Christmas pearls and droplets. Living in Shanghai, we definitely missed out on special decorations (except the generic super Christmas pukeoverload in all the shopping malls).

Steak and fries…..so much steak and fries

Jason was not fully satisfied so this was his “dessert”: Braised pork belly with mashed potatoes.

Finally ending our perfect (but extremely tiring) first day in Paris at the Eiffel Tower amongst all the sketchy everyone-looks-like-they’re-about-to-pick-pocket-me people! AHHHHH..
