holiday red & plaid

Gap skirt, Sweater c/o Marshalls (similar), Loft sweater coat, Hue tights, Dolce Vita boots, Nordstrom bag (currently 40% odd) , Bauble Bar earrings

I love any excuse to dress up and the holidays are certainly no exception. I grabbed this plaid skirt from Gap a few weeks ago because it’s the perfect piece to mix and match all through the holiday season. I also hunted for the perfect oversized red sweater and finally found one at Marshalls for a great price. I think it will be perfect with a flannel or chambray shirt layered underneath it for extra warmth. I know it’s something I’ll reach for over and over in the next month. What do you guys like to wear for the holidays?

PS- Would you say the plaid on this skirt is black or navy? I was leaning towards navy until my husband asked me why I was wearing blue tights with a black skirt (fashion blogger fail). Let’s just call it one of those black-navy hybrid colors, what do you say? And please don’t say I’m color blind.
