Best Esty Vintage Clothing Shops

This is not an authoritative list as I feel like Etsy is the Antartica of the interwebs because there is still so much left to explore. I constantly only see the tip of the iceberg as I keep getting distracted by the land of vintage bar glasses and signs. And the super fun Taste Test. Since moving to New York, I can hardly find a Bank of America, let alone all the best vintage stores so in the meantime, I have been roaming Etsy like crazy for vintage clothes and home items. Here are some of my favorite shops of the moment although I will say most of my great Etsy success comes from just searching for something specific. Recent searches have included fur vests; please don’t judge me. 1. Mo Vintage You had me a leopard poncho. But seriously, this shop has such an excellently curated selection of goods. My favs are this southwestern-esque skirt and of course, this polka dot skirt. Yes, the polka dot addiction rages on. 2. Simple Thrift This shop has some of the best vintage jackets I have ever seen but it should be noted I am a sucker for a fur collar (i.e. in my dream world I am an extra on the Almost Famous set). There’s some great ladylike pieces coming from this shop, from tie-neck blouses to floral dresses to delicate purses. 3. Santoki Vintage If you can give home to an already perfect used bag, why buy a new one? Santoki Vintage has great bags like this southwestern backpack and this woven basket bag. They also have a wide selection of vintage duds that seem straight out of Urban Outfitters in a good way. Not in the $95 tummy-bearing 90s floral print way. 4. Jules Atelier The adorable, classy dresses available from this wonderful shop kill me. They are so beautiful and belong in my closet right this second. Like this grey and purple one. And let’s not forget this skirt. 5. Pretty Little World Vintage This shop had an authentic kimono (yes a kimono) and I wanted it. That should sell the shop enough right there. There were some slightly pricey yet totally unforgetable pieces from this store that I really adored. Like this 1920s darling flapper dress that was literally part of the Fitzgerald clan.
