I wear winter

I might should stop repeating myself weekly, but the weekend passed by to quickly, no? And it was oh-so-cold… brrrr. When I watch through these photos right now, it seems to me that I even started matching with the frosty temperatures. From the icy slate blue of the coat to the cool blue of the shirt-dress up to the snow-white pants. I’m tempted to say, I wear winter. It actually sounds kind of stupid but it’s probably the must suiting caption.

The dress was a lucky found during my latest virtual shopping trip and without a second of doubting, I putted it into my basket. Love at first sight. It’s almost a pity to distract the attention it deserves by wearing with other pieces along with it. But who wants to leave the house without a big coat, far less bare legs by choice in February?

You don’t? Well, I neither do. Luckily, beautiful, light dresses are not the only thing to stumble over while online shopping. It’s super easy to also find lovely warm coats to make them beautiful, light dresses absolutely wearable in winter. And seriously, can we girls have enough coats? I guess we can’t! Especially during the super cold days I don’t want to miss a warm teddy coat just like the one worn here or an all time classic in camel (I LOVE camel as you see here, here and here!) and of course an always matching piece in black (there’s a nice selection on this site). And if there’s still free space in the wardrobe, preferably in every other possible color just to make sure to have a matching coat for each summer dress. ;-)

Ich sollte zwar damit aufhören, mich wöchentlich zu wiederholen, aber das Wochenende ging doch wirklich wieder viel zu schnell vorüber, nicht wahr? Und kalt war es wieder… brrrrr. Wenn ich dieses Outfit von letzter Woche nun so auf den Bildern betrachte, scheint es sogar fast so, als ob ich mich farblich den frostigen Temperaturen angepasst hätte. Vom eisigen blau-grau des Mantels, über das kühle Blau des Blusenkleids bis zu den schneeweissen Hosen. Man könnte fast sagen, ich trage Winter. Klingt zwar doof, passt als Beschrieb aber 1A.

Das Kleidchen habe ich übrigens kürzlich während eines virtuellen Shoppingtrips entdeckt und es, ohne auch nur eine Sekunde zu zögern, in den Warenkorb gepackt. Liebe auf den ersten Blick. Eigentlich ist es ja fast zu schade, um mit anderen Stücken zu kombinieren und ihm damit die verdiente Aufmerksamkeit zu nehmen. Aber wer will im Februar schon freiwillig ohne dicke Jacke, geschweige denn mit nackten Beinchen nach draussen in die Eiseskälte?

Du nicht? Genau, ich auch nicht! Glücklicherweise stolpert man online ja auch nicht nur über hübsche, luftige Kleider, sondern auch über ebenso schöne, wärmende Mäntel, die die hübschen, luftigen Kleider auch schon im Winter durchaus tragbar machen. Und Mäntel kann man doch sowieso nie genug haben? Besonders diesen Winter geht bei mir nichts ohne kuschelige Teddy Coats wie den hier getragenen, und Klassiker in Camel (Ich LIEBE Camel, wie ihr hier, hier und hier sehen könnt) und natürlich, als Retter in der Not, in Schwarz (eine Auswahl gibt’s zum Beispiel auf dieser Seite). Und wenn der Kleiderschrank Platz lässt, gerne auch noch in allen anderen erdenklichen Farben, damit für jedes Sommerkleidchen, der passende Wintermantel bereitsteht ;-)
